Title: Would upgrading to an I7 improve video streaming

I have two tuners.  Running an I5 4690k and a GTX 980 TI with 16 gig ram.

I notice minor performance issues when I'm recording two over-the-air programs while playing one - especially when jumping through commercials.

Would upgrading to an I7 (hyper-threading) improve performance, or is hyper threading a non-issue with JRiver.
