Greetings,
Somehow I've managed to make is to that there are no controls in fullscreen Display view. I can right click and get the normal right-click options, but the pause/stop/ff/rw, volume and progress bar are all gone. It used to auto-hide, but pushing the mouse to the top caused it to drop back in. Now nothing. Huge pain, as i have to exit fullscreen to do do anything or change the volume.
Can anyone tell me what I did and how to get it back to normal?
Best regards,
Joe

Maybe Options > Tree & View > Enable OSD is off?

That wouldn't hide the mouseover Player Bar (the one at the top), would it? That seems to be what he's describing...
Detached Displays don't have the mouseover Player Bar, though. Are you perhaps somehow using a fullscreen Detached Display and not Display View?

My only other guess is a combination of buggy/problematic GPU drivers with ROHQ and MadVR's Fullscreen Exclusive mode?

Thanks for the replies, guys. @Matt, good idea, but that is turned on.
@glynor, that's a good idea, I'm playing around with the detached display, but still haven't managed to get the controls back.
The GPU idea is a good one too, there's an update waiting so I'll try that and see.
Thanks again, I'll post back when I have more info.
Best,
Joe

Perhaps you misunderstood.
When you're using the Detached Display, there are no mouse controls within the Detached Display (because the whole idea of the detached display is that you can access them on the "other screen" in the full MC UI).

No, I get it, sorry I wasn't clear. I was just hoping that messing around with detaching/reattaching the display might kick something loose. In the end, windows rebooted to do updates and the controls are back. No idea why, a simple reboot didn't solve the problem.... :)
Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate the help.
Best,
Joe

I saw this behaviour too yesterday. Stopping and restarting playback helped to fix it, but the control bar being present or not seemed random.
