Been YABB property of J River that means it could be expanded. Why not to put a submit/request of lyrics instead of having to use third party plugins? I own at the moment 300 albums with lyrics that I have hard hunted in 284 of them, and I'm willing to share them, it would be great if people could submit and share their lyrics too. Then MC would have definetly a very unique new feature not found in any other media application. Also would be great if when requesting the tag details of a file these could be previewed before applying them to the file.

Well your plugin... not saying a tall is bad at the contrary, but the point is to increase with time the MC productivity, hence wouldn't be eventually more accurate and give better retrievals to submit all the lyrics of MC users into a centralized server integrated with YABB?

the problem is as JimH said it is the copywright of the lyrics.
