hello to the forum!
my problem starts like this: i have the JRiver Media Center 21.0.45 and Creative Sound Blaster ZxR, when i use asio for multichannel movies any kind of movie surround audio the center goes to right side and etc.
the only way to work it is to choose the swap channels in asio settings.
may i ask why this happens? is the normal to use this setting or is this a workaround only?
any help or info will be apriciated! thx in advance!

I don't know the reason why but my SBZ needs it too so I guess it's normal.

your report is somewhat vague which probably explains the lack of a response
Try to provide a bit more specific detail on your setup; e.g. show your output format and other DSP settings & also show the audio device configuration
Be specific with what exactly is wrong, for example what exactly is the etc in "the centre goes to the right side and etc"?

with a remark like that, its not going to help much. not everyone has a SB card running asio in whatever config you might use 2 5.1, 7.1 ?? a polite bump of your post would do next time, k?

Instead of using 8 channels, the Creative cards I've used require you to set 10 channels for output when using ASIO. They add a Rear Center/Top pair before the Side Left/Right. The channels look like this:
1-Left
2-Right
3-Center
4-Sub
5-Rear Left
6-Rear Right
7-Rear Center
8-Rear Top
9-Surround Left
10-Surround Right
To fix the routing you need to set the Output Format Channels to 10 channels. Then use Parametric Equalizer > Mix Channels to copy Surround Left to 9 and Surround Right to 10. I'm doing this from memory, but I think it is what worked for me.

thx my friend for your advice but feels like a workaround not a real fix as i believe its a sound drivers problem.
now i switch to asus strix raid dlx and works like a charm without any problems at all!
thx again for your interest in me!
