Title: Failed to convert media type
Post by: leonardpiercey on February 08, 2003, 02:29:48 pm
When I select a track from the most recently played playlist to convert it to another media type (Example
.ra (real audio) to .mp3) sometimes it does not work and I get a very blunt message "Failed to Convert" (that's all she wrote!).  The seems to happen when the track being converted is of a not internally supported media type. What I can't understand is that the file (track) plays Okay so it is still able to be opened and played.
?
Is there any way of increasing the number of internally supported file types to fix this. Without converting the track, I am not able to burn the file onto a CD and in effect I LOSE IT!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. ?

That's probably why the artist/record company/whoever chose the real audio format.  You can download and play it, but it's harder to share with others and if you want it on CD, you have to buy it.  :)
