Title: Can I point JRiver to only one folder on my PC?
Post by: cdesjardins99 on February 10, 2016, 10:10:02 am
I have multiple drives on my computer and multiple directories.  One of them is JRiver, which contains just the music I want to play with JRiver.  There are also folders for my iPhone, iPod, my kids' iPhones, etc.  I don't want to have all of the music show up in JRiver.  I know I can drill down to only the folder labelled JRiver, but can I have only that folder show up all the time?  With no music from the other folders showing up?  Each time I open it, it's a pain to have to click my way through several directories to find the JRiver folder.  Not to mention my family can't figure it out.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.  Please set your auto import options under the Tools menu.  You can add or remove folders, then edit them to import the file types you want.

Also take a look at "Getting Started" in my signature.

Found it - thank you!  I deleted the current library and now it is showing just the files I want.
