Folks
New to JRiver and the forum and appreciate anyhelp - I have a beoplay A6 speaker and use the BeoMusic App on Windows 10- The issue is the BeoMusic app will find the jriver server (Media Center generic DLNA) and my audio files, but when I want to choose a song on the app the songs are greyed out and not playable. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Jim

Why not drive this the other way around: Use JRiver MC to push music to the Beoplay A6. The tech specs say it's a DLNA renderer, so it should show up as a source under Playing Now on the left side of the interface. Or as a zone in JRemote.

Thanks Brian! You are correct was able to do that. For sheer convenience due to location of PC and where I listen wondering if anyone has any suggestions for seeing them on the app as well.
Again much appreciated Brian!

JRemote is an app that controls MC that runs on IOS devices. It's not free, but it's cheap: $9. Gizmo is an app that runs on Android devices that controls MC. It's free. Just a few alternatives to consider. Both can direct music to any MC zone, including your A6.

Thanks again Brian! I had looked at this as a solution. So thanks for confirming and agree worth it for a simple way to get what I need. Although those darn greyed out songs :)

Try downloading the DMRA tester from my signature, and run the test, and post the result here.

Thanks Andrew. Just got a response on the beomusic forum that worked. For anyone interested - The fix was signing into a Tunein account on my PC and then the beoplay A6.. Start a station on the A6 and then miraculously the songs are no longer greyed out. I have no idea why....
