Hi--
I just installed MC 9.1.238 to replace MJ8. Looks cool. Sounds great.
Of course I'm confused but not as confused as when I tried
9.0 a couple of months ago.
Right now I need help on the following:
1. When I start MC I get this message: File'C:\Program Files\JRiver\MediaJukebox\Media Scheduler.exe' is not found. How do I get rid of this?
2. I'm looking for a mega-me skin that uses numerical 1-5 rating instead of stars. When I try to download any skin from Tools\SkinManager it takes me to MJ skins--not MC skins--then I get kicked out to the Start screen and the above message.
How do I access/download skins for MC?

How do I access/download skins for MC?
Skins for 9.1 have not been posted to the download section yet 'cos with it being a beta the interface keeps changing so the skins quickly become out of date. However, there is some cool stuff available form the link below. The skinners are regulars here so it's not normally that long a wait before they get updated when the MC GUI changes.

I can't really think why you would want this? If you just want to put a 1-5 rating in you can use the Action Window (File properties) to enter this but I don't know of any skin that'll dispaly numeric ratings values in the list. Maybe it's time to embrace the stars! They look really good in the WMP skin.

if you rename/delete the bitamp in the skin directory, the stars will dissappear.
ex:
rename
C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center\MegaSkins\PixOS\List-Rating.gif
to
C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center\MegaSkins\PixOS\List-Rating2.gif

Thanks--
The deal is that my historic rating system with MJ is that 1 is best--5 is mark for delete.
So it's counter-intuitive with the * system.
Left Brain/Right Brain sort of thing I guess.
Plus the *****'s eat screen turf. One digit tells the whole story 1-5.

Yeh. I used a different rating system prior to MC9 too but figured that it would be easier to convert to the standard MC way. I'm glad I did 'cos clicking on a star in the list is a VERY quick way of updating ratings.
