Title: HDHomeRun
Post by: filosad on February 22, 2016, 02:21:47 pm
I am not able to install the HDHomeRun ext. network three (3) Tuner within your application.  It appears empty w/o the ability to add.  I should state, that I am running a Test version of their new application HDHomeRun DVR on the same hardware.  Probably, it is running some services.  I am not sure if this is causing an issue or not.  Also the client that is running MC is Win10.  Please advise what would be the nest steps.  Thanks.

Welcome aboard!

Probably best you look in the Television section. A few people have the HDHR working well with MC.

Are you trying to set up HDHomerun Prime?  Is so, please take a look at this thread:  http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=83318.0 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=83318.0)

Regardless of whether your device is the Prime, please run the HDHomeRun Setup program.  On the Configuration tab, select "J River Media Center" for "BDA Compatibility Mode".  And make sure your Firewall settings give JRiver Media Center 21 all network permissions.

I commend Yaobing's advice to you. As well as that, can you post some screen shots? I'm interested to see whether the DVR side of things has any key differences to their standard network tuner.
