I have one computer that has intermittent network problems with the server (Windows 10 and it's networking mess). I want to play off the library of the server when possible so the tags stay updated with play information even when the client/server lag with each other (which they often do).
I have copied an identical file structure to the client with all my FLACs. I have checked the box "Play local file if one that matches Library Server is found".
1) How does Media Center find the local file?
2) How do I know if the local file is played?
3) Does Media Center update the tags of both files after play?
Any other info would be apprectiated The Wiki doesn't really explain this.
