Title: MC21 Hangs when ripping

MC21 hangs big time no matter where i move the output folder and what format I change the audio to on my computer... I have 3 CD-R's and its becoming really annoying can someone please help. I just built this PC its top notch. no issues with anything else and nothing in the device manager or anything... everything works fine everywhere else.

Under Help/About, you will find the full version.  21.0.50 is in a thread at the top of this board.

You have 3 CD drives... are they USB, firewire, IDE... ?

Have you tried ripping using another program?

same thing.... very frustrating... and to the point of the other question the are IDE LG Burners, Model UH12NS30. iTunes (even though I LOATHE it) has no issues doing rip upon rip... I am downloading dbpoweramp right now to try it out.
Open to other ideas because I love, love JRiver... its my first real problem.

I previously said IDE but forgot... checked they are SATA LG model UH12MS30
no issues in itunes which i hate and I'm downloading dbpower amp right now

I'm with you.  Love JRiver MC.  If another quality ripping program works then use it.  DBPoweramp is payware, and is supposed to be very good.  I've never tried it.  Exact Audio Copy is very good, but requires more configuration, and does not find album art for you.  But it's free and does "perfect" rips.
