Title: Hulu style resume playlist
Post by: park on February 28, 2016, 07:11:27 pm
Yesterday I was looking through MC's recently played playlist to try and resume a movie I had been watching before MC had crashed. It seems that playlist only displays finished items. Is there an easy way to make a 'Resume' style smartlist that works something like the resume functionality of Netflix and Hulu etc?

You could certainly build a view to show this however you wanted.  I was just experimenting with a view using the watched() function as a criteria.  In my 10 minutes of playing around, I didn't get the results I was looking for.  I suspect that you probably need to do some calculations based on Bookmark and other values in order to get exactly what you're asking for.

Glynor has written up a pretty impressive tutorial on how to get detailed status about how much a program has been watched, etc.  It's not the exact solution you're looking for, but I'm pretty sure you could adapt it to your purpose.
