JRiver Smart Theater is the first step.  Turn on equipment and set lighting.  Automatically.

But there are many more devices to control.  Here's our plan:

You are planning on making a product that can control anything or requires no other software? Maybe I misunderstand you, but that doesn't seem feasible. Even controlling all the open protocols is a pretty monumental task.
