Title: Spotify Now Playing in Theatre View. Look Mar no hands. :)

I completely geeked out and got a Spotify Now Playing screen going in Theatre View.

Video uploading. :)


Spotify set to route through JRiver WDM Sound card driver to a dedicated Spotify Zone.
iPhone or tablet Spotify App to control tracks.
Harmony remote

Now for the secret sauce. :)
Snip getting Spotify meta data and saving as text/image files
Open Broadcaster configured with a custom layout using the text and album art
Open Broadcaster sending stream to connectcast.tv
Added a web page link in MC Theatre View pointing to a popout view of my live stream from connectcast.tv

Still to play with... setting up my own rtmp streaming server locally with nginx for windows so I can stream locally and remove latency and streaming bandwidth requirements.

Could do lots of things with this streaming. :)

There might be an easier way to do this but hey it's an interesting idea. :)

Hey Nathan you could set your own stream up with multiple video security camera feeds.  :)

Instead of using the "hacked on" extension for nginx, you could use a server actually made to act as a rtmp server:
