Title: Stop Amazon Music Files from showing (as duplicates) in my JRiver Library
Post by: ml8764jr on March 19, 2016, 01:17:25 pm
Sorry guys, the answer if probably out there somewhere but cannot find it.  I also looked through every single option.

Bottom line: My JRiver imports my Itunes library...which is great...but it will also import identical copies of songs that I purchased from amazon.  both paths show:

ITunesMusic/songxxxx
Amazonmp3/songxxxx

Of course, when I manually delete amazon duplicates from JRiver, they get imported again as previously unfound

How can I disconnect the path to the amazon files???..I don't need them.

Thanks in advance.

Please check your settings for autoimport.  Tools > Options > Import.

A little extra information:

Configure auto import here:

Tools > Options > Library & Folders > configure auto import

You should see a list of monitored folders.  Remove the one pointing to your AmazonMP3 folder and it will stop looking there.  You'll still have to remove those files from MC's library, but once auto import is set up correctly, it won't re-import from that location again.
