Hello,
On my DLNA customize view, I have a display rules for podcast that includes : "Number Plays is 0"
When I play a podcast, the number plays is correctly incremented in MediaCenter, but it seems that Media server doesnt take it in account. Podcast which now has a Number Plays > 0 continue to be listed, until I restart mediaserver. It seems that media server doesnt refresh the display rules.
Regards

This might be related to your other problem...

I don't think so as it is not linked with access MC from the TV.
I get this problem with WebPlay, WebRemote, Gizmo .....
It is like the Server program donot refresh playlist rule
And I think you can test on you side:
Configure a daily or hourly or whatever podcast
In MediaNetwork > Customize view for JRemote...
create a view and Set a display rule to "NumberPlays is 0"
Now from Webremote play a podcast
You will notice that till MediaServer has not been restarted :
- Played podcasts keep been listed,
- and new podcasts are not .
Attached a screen capture of the configuration.
I also noticed that when you change the customization, changes occurs in WebRemote only once mediaserver is restarted.

The play count is like editing a tag. You need the authenticate option turned on server side. Do you have this checked?
I also noticed that when you change the customization, changes occurs in WebRemote only once mediaserver is restarted.
This is normal as it is library based. You can force this to happen by reconnecting to the server or stopping the app you are using. You don't have to restart the server, just have the library reloaded on the remote device in some way.
I only use JRemote, but I think that would be the same for all.

I'm not 100% sure, but this might be related to how MC presents smartlists to remotes. With remotes (like JRemote, etc) smartlists don't get updated. You'll always get the same thing from the smartlist until the server gets restarted or it gets manually refreshed. Some details (and a workaround) here:

Thanks for your replies,
It seems it is like the problem of smartlist, I will try the 2 solution proposed in your link.
http://localhost:52199/MCWS/v1/Control/MCC?Command=22007 => Didn't work
http://localhost:52199/MCWS/v1/Control/CommandLine?Arguments=/Restart => Works
However it restarted both MediaCenter and MediaServer
Is there a command that restart only MediaServer ?

No. They're the same process.
