Title: How to store TMDb ID Tags?
Post by: wcijacobs on March 22, 2016, 08:53:52 pm
Can anyone tell me how to store the TMDb tag ID?
I see where the IMDb ID tag is stored in my movie tags but not the TMDb ID tag.

I created a Library field with the name "TMDb ID" but I don't know how to get the actual ID to populate automatically when I Get Movie & TV info.

Thanks for any help I can get.

I don't think MC is capturing that information when it does a lookup.  You can find it manually of course through a web browser, but that's no fun.

What are you trying to do?  Build a links section at the top, to automatically take you to the TMDB web page for a movie or something?  I just realized I could do that for IMDB and changed the link in the links section to link directly to the movie via it's IMDB ID.

Thanks for responding.
I need the field populated in order to build an export file to my Android phone. I use an app named
"Movie Collection" which has an import function but requires both IMDb and TMDb fields to be automatic.

I have a lot of movies in my data base so doing it manually would be very time consuming. I have already researched
other Android apps but can't find one that will work any better.

Thanks again!
