Title: MC 9 and linux

Does anyone know if there's a way to run MC 9
on linux (redhat, mandrake)
Or ithere any project in the future to develop a linux version.
The onli reason that i'm not switching to linux is that there's  no linux versions of MC 9 and i can't live without it.
