Title: Customize theatre view not working
Post by: ajp_anton on March 26, 2016, 07:50:32 am
I'm trying to customize the Theatre view's Items to show, but the settings reset themselves every time I close an re-open JRiver. They stick only as long as the application is running.

If you're using as a client for MC running as a server on another PC, you need to make the changes on the server.

What if I have multiple clients connecting to the same server, each wanting their own layout?

You make the changes on each Client individually. Some settings made on the Server are global and can't be modified/over-written by the Client.

What are you trying to do?

This is not possible with Media Center as designed.

You can use the Users feature to hide certain media from certain installations, however:

Using MC's automation commands, you can make particular clients always launch with a specified user (this just requires a simple script that you use to launch MC on those machines).
