When trying to record a show from TV from e.g. 11:00pm til the other day 01:00am (so for 2 hours),
it always takes it as 01:00pm i.s.o am
There is no way to choose between am & pm
Is there another option I've overlooked ?

Are you saying the scheduler does not accept your intended stop time, or the scheduler accepts it but does not record accordingly?
Scheduling seems to work correctly for me, i.e. the scheduler takes the correct time. I have not tried to see if the scheduled event will execute correctly since I will have to wait until midnight.
Did you remember to advance the stop date?
-
It accepts it fine, I did advance the stop date to the other day.
When I scheduled a show from 11:00pm til 01:00am the next day, it recorded til 01:00pm (far too long and my harddisk was full)
This because it always takes pm as time if I put something in there. There is no box or option to indicate AM or PM to record.
Also, I'm living in Europe (Belgium) and my PC clock is set as 24h so 11:00pm is in fact 23:00 and 01:00pm is 13:00 but in media scheduler the time only goes from 0:00 til 11:59 and not from 0:00 til 23:59
Just schedule something til the other day sometime AM and then look what has been scheduled when you click OK, does it say PM i.s.o AM ?
If so, that's what I'm experiencing.
I recorded always fine but now there was a show until after midnight, so this is now the first time I experience this problem.

I just played with it a little bit more and this is now what's happening:
It works fine if I use the up and down arrows to navigate to the appropriate time.
It always takes PM if I manually (via keyboard) enter the stop time.
Can't there be an option to choose between AM or PM when manually entering the time or maybe to take the Windows system settings so in my case I can enter time between 0:00 and 23:59 ?
-
Sorry, another thing I just noticed:
Is it somewhere possible to define a default recording directory ?
Now it takes by default c:\

Use arrow key (->) to move highlight over AM or PM, and then type 'a' for AM, 'p' for PM.

Not now. There is indeed a lack of coordination between Media Scheduler and MC TV control. You will have to specify the full path in Media Scheduler.

which am /pm ???

remember, I'm on a 24h clock setting, so Media scheduler should list 0:00 til 23:59 but now it only shows 1:00 til 12:59 and no option of choosing am or pm

It looks like a bug. AM or PM should follow the numbers 11:40, and 1:41 in the picture. On my machine (in USA) even if I change my computer time format to 24 hour, Media Scheduler still uses 12 hour format with AM/PM. I do not know what happens in your case.

OK, I did further testing. Firstly, Media Scheduler only uses 12hour format. That may be something we need to improve on. Secondly, the reason you do not see AM/PM symbols is because you did not choose any symbols for them. Even though you are using 24 hour format, you can still choose a symbol for AM and a symbol for PM. That way Media Scheduler will use the symbols. It is kind of odd that when you set the system setting to United States, then AM and PM are always selected (there are no other choices) regardless whether you choose 12 hour or 24 hour format. On the other hand, if you set your system for Belgium, for example, the AM/PM symbols have two choices - AM or blank, PM or blank. Your system must have been set to use blanks.

I tried setting it and it works now, thanks.
Maybe odd for new users, because Windows doesn't automatic set AM/PM if using the 24h format.
The improvement for 24h support of Media Scheduler would be nice.
Thanks,
Benny
