Title: Media Server bitrate change?
Post by: RvdBijl on August 18, 2003, 11:04:17 am
Hello all,

I would like to be able to change the bitrate of the MP3 files as they're streamed through the Media Server. The reason is that I have 128KBit/s upload speed on my cable modem, and sometimes when I'm remote, I would like to be able to listen to my MP3's, which are mostly 192Kbit/s and higher.
I noticed a setting for the TiVo streaming bitrate, but that doesn't work with the regular Media Center frontend.. Any suggestions?

Also, I would really like to be able to remotely edit stuff in the database. It's really annoying that you can't even just edit a playlist. Any word on when this feature may be added?

Thanks,
Robbert

Both are on my list, but other stuff may take priority.
Thanks for the suggestions.
