Title: Customising properties

I just added a new property to my video library to help me sort videos but it now also appears in my (separate) music library.

Is there a way I can have only video properties showing in my video library and only audio properties showing in my music library?

Sorry, I seem to be sorting this out for myself.

It's about adding and removing columns and then selecting Fields to Show>Same as columns in current view, right?

Right.  

In tree and view settings you can also specify which category your new field should appear under (general, extended etc).  Sometimes this option is greyed out…but sometimes it isn’t.
