Hello
I've correctly set up my system to play 3D BluRay on my 3D TV and it seems working not to bad (See my other thread).
I like to know if it is possible to play 3D Images (.MPO of .JPS).
So far MC display both images SBS. Do you plan to support these 3D image formats ?
Regards,
Philippe

Bonjour Philippe,
Pardon my ignorance, but you got me curious, as I never tried a 3D photo. Is there any support required from JR ?
What happens when you (manually) set your monitor/TV/projector to 3D SBS mode ?
(in a fashion similar to SBS/OU movies)
Bonne journée !

Its unlikely that any support for 3D images is going to happen anytime soon. We rely on several external components for 3D video playback, which just don't apply to images, so we have nothing to base it on right now. Sorry!

Hi Rudy,
Currently I use .MPO, which is a container "supported" by MC as it recognize them as images, and it display both image side by side. The problem is that usually SBS view uses half-width images so as MPO images are display by MC 2 side by image full width images , if I manualy set TV to 3D SBS the image ratio is lost and I have 2 black bars (top and bottom).
To help you understand, attached are 3 screen captures :
3D display by MC.jpg : show how the image is displayed by MC on the TV
3D display by MC.jpg : show how the image is displayed by MC on the TV once SBS 3D mode is manualy activated
3D as size should be.jpg : show how the image should be displayed if 3D was implemented.

Greetings PhDSM,
I was not aware that the .MPO container was embedding two native images SBS. I thought they would be horizontally compressed, à la SBS video.
Thank you for taking the time to reply, I learned something this morning :-)
Cheers.
