Title: JRemote loses connection to Renderer
Post by: PeterS on April 16, 2016, 07:13:25 am
Working for month very well and without any changes to my network, devices, Firmware, etc. JRemote (V3.22) on iPad Air (IOS 9.3.1) has lost the Connection to my (UPnP-) Media-Renderer.
The Renderer can be seen in my Router, with a network sniffer (Fing) and - very strange - can be controlled without any problems with a Standard UPnP-App like PlugPlayer. Music plays as normal...
Same Problem continues with a second and third IOS device with JRemote installed. Iam really perplexed...
What can I do to get JRemote work again and find my renderer besides tapping on the refresh button of "Zones" again and again?
JRemote is really a great App and I like more than all competitor Apps.
Help is very much appreciated and thank you in advance.

Try regenerating the Access Key.  Switch Media Network off and back on.

I can access JRiver (as an UPnP Server) via JRemote without any problems, I lost the contact to my Renderer.
I restartet every device (incl. the Router) several times...

I have a computer with a wired connection. When that went out briefly for another reason I enabled WiFi, and to connect from JRemote I needed to generate a new access key for the WiFi network.
