Title: Syncing 2 PCs
Post by: mattsnuts on August 14, 2003, 04:28:33 pm
I have 2 PCs, both with Media Center installed. My desktop at home and my notebook for work.

Both have the same mp3s installed, the only difference is the notebook has the tunes in C:\Music and the desktop in D:\Music

The notebook will occasionally come home with me, which is when my question comes in. Is there any easy way to sync the Music libraries of the two Media Centers, so that if I change smartlists or playlists or especially tag information, it'll get copied to the other library. Hmm, sounds optimistic.

One of these days I'm gonna get an iPod too, could I use that to assist sync-ing?

I've been using SynchroMagic Pro for similar sync's as well as backups of mp3, video, etc, files to usb and 1394 drives:
