Anyone else seeing an issue where right clicking on JPEG's from explorer and clicking 'Play in Media Center' results in Media center opening the file but not taking focus?
The same happens when double clicking on them.
-
When I double-click a JPG Media Center jumps fullscreen and obviously has the focus since it's the only program showing.
Strange that it's not doing that for you. Is it even jumping fullscreen?
-
It loads the image and then jumps to display view - rather than full screen - but all in the background. If I fullscreen MC then sometimes the next time I open an image it works - but click around again for a while and it stops working again.
This is Windows 10. I don't remember this being a problem on Windows 7 - although could be a coincidence...

Here's a video of the issue:

I think if it wasn't jumping to fullscreen, we'll have a fix next build.
From the history:
Fixed: If image playback didn't jump to fullscreen, it wouldn't activate the MC process when playing an image.
It took me quite a while to finally get to the bottom of it, but I think we should all be good now.

Awesome thanks Matt.

So I've tested the fix on a vanilla Windows 10 install on a different machine - no Anti Virus etc, and the same issue comes up. With the latest build MC flashes on the taskbar rather than coming into focus.
Thanks,
Chris.
