Post by: UrfTheWog on August 12, 2003, 03:22:57 pm
Will DVD burning be supported/new feature in 9.1?

It will do DVD data burns now. You don't mean like a DVD Authoring program...do you? What do you want to do?

Basically for data, copies of DVDs. I'm using TMPGenc along with VirtualDub to extract stuff from my SA Tivo and then create a DVD.

I didn't see an options in the current 9.1 beta for burning of DVD's - just CDs. Guess it must be too early still ;)

What drives are supported?  I haven't been able to get DVD burning to work yet.  I get error message, "Can't start the write." when trying to burn anything over 1GB.  Anything less does seem to work.

I'm not saying this is your problem, but you should consider more RAM for doing stable DVD burns.

Ya I know I need more memory I'll have to go buy some more to see if that helps.  I have been able to burn DVDs in other programs without problem though.
