I was having issues a while back with tv playback and recording. Thought it was a failed HD. Replaced it, issue came back so I tried a new tuner card. Same issue.
Now when I watch TV live I receive "some stuttering". After about 15-20 minutes the playback stops and goes into a loop. I did a clean uninstall and reinstall of media center. That did not help. It appears to be a buffer or memory leak issue but I cannot seem to find it. I have 16gb on the PC and the card is a fairly new GTX760.
I pulled the logs so I can send. Please help! This has been my primary DVR for YEARS! Thanks!

ATSC or DVB?
Is the cable connecting to the antenna in good shape? Has it been touched/moved recently?

You can email me the log. yaobing at jriver dot com

Thanks I emailed you the log. It is ATSC. IF i watch video that was recorded it functions fine. It seems to be an issue with the transcoding to me?

You may want to try watching a TV program with the Windows Resource Monitor open so you can see the CPU, MEM, and Drive performance at the same time when the TV starts to stutter.
Also, look at the "Signal Strength" meter to be sure your not having a transmission or antenna issue too.
Do you watch with RO+HD (madVR) or RO Standard? If HQ, try the other.

Thanks for the feedback. I use RO standard. HD just makes the issue worse. resources on the disk, cpu, memory application barely go over 25% the machine itself is a beast :) Signal strength is strong throughout too. it's a real stumper for me. Here's some interesting text in the log file that points to the time shift:(maybe) Any feedback would be great! Thanks in advance!

Those log lines indicate that MC was trying to read data that had not been cached yet.
The tuner is slow to obtain data, indicating a problem with your signal. Another possibility is that playback went faster than it should. Are you using VideoClock? Try turning it on or off and see if it makes a difference.
