Title: Problem to install the MC22 file.
Post by: Maglu on May 25, 2016, 03:00:17 pm
Problem to install the MC22 file.

I got the MC22. But when I try to run the program "Media Center22 Windows-34452.mjr" it displays the following error:

"The Following module has failed to load:
c: \ Program Files (x86) \ J River \ Modia Center 20 \ PackageInstaller.exe ".

The curious thing is that I have already intalled the MC21 on the machine.

I tried to uninstall the MC20, and the following error occurred:

"There was a problem at startup
C: \ Users \ maglu_000 \ AppData \ Local \ Temp \ JRMediaUninstall.dll "

Any suggestion?

Try installing MC21 again and running it first.

Then read this:
http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Restoring_a_License

This could also be a problem with antivirus or similar.

Well, I'd try reinstalling MC 20's last build from here: http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/channels/v20/latest/MediaCenter200132.exe

After reinstalling, try uninstalling again and see if that works for you. :)

You could install it again, then uninstall.  See "Old Versions" on our wiki.

Are you guys sure Maglu is not thinking the .mjr file is not MC22 app?

I've tried reinstalling the MC20, stop after uninstall. But gives the following problem:

"Please que Ensure the file 'C: \ Program Files (x86) \ J River \ Media Center 20 \ JRTools.dll' is not in use".

I have JRiver on three computers, the problem only occur in two that have the MC20 installed and is exatamante the same way.

In the end, when you leave the version of the MC22, will install and ask for new key. I hope you get it.

Thanks for listening.
