Title: Tag/rate files using remote
Post by: raldo on May 27, 2016, 05:35:08 am
I faintly remember seeing discussions on how one could rate files using a remote. I'm talking client on windows.

I Have an Asrock 330HT with a standard CIR.

Anyone?

If your using a remote, I'll assume you are in Theater View mode.

If you are looking at Movie, Audio or Images view in Theater View, once you select a file (a movie or audio file) there will be tabs/buttons shown at the top of the page (Back, Watch, Select, Tag, ...) you would select "Tag", then scroll down the list that comes up until you get to "Rating". Select that then you can add or change the value.

Be sure that under Tools>Options>Media Network>Client Options you have the "Auto Sync with Server" box checked.

Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. I'd like to know I could program the remote using a single button press to apply one tagging command. For example adding one additional EXIF keyword.
