Title: iPod Sync - Transcode on client rather than server

Not certain if this is possible (and I've certainly tried looking), but figured if it wasn't it could be a suggestion for MC22.

Basically, I often sync large amounts of music to my iPod Classic, transcoding from FLAC to mp3 on the fly. Unfortunately this seems to take place on my server with its little Turion processor rather than on the overclocked i7 client the iPod is connected to, greatly slowing the process and taxing the server significantly.

Is there any way to force the conversion to happen on the client rather than the server? If not, could this be considered in future versions?
