Title: Is Xfade working properly in .228?

I have Xfade set to the full 16 secs (smooth) but hear hardly any fade in.  I've tested with loads of different tracks.  It seems to behave as though it's just set up for 1 or 2 secs.

Could someone please test this for me and report back.

I should add that if I skip to the next track before the end of the current one I do get Xfade but not if I let a track play out or drag the slider towards the end and let it play out.
