Title: region 2 DVD decoder problem

Hi.

Apologies in advance if this is not specific to MC.  I"m running the latest MC beta and am trying to view a region 2 (UK) DVD in MC.  I'm getting a  list of possilbe issues why I can't play my DVD one of which is "incompatible Mpeg2 decoder software. Try installing different decoder software".  As I believe MC is the mother of using all encoders when compared to other media players, could this in fact be the problem?  Where can I get other decoders from?



tech notes: changed my laptop to play region 2.

Are you running the 228 build? That one fixes a bug with DVD playback, but you may want to wait for a follow-up version to fix some stability problems.
