I just installed MC21.0.83 on a Windows 10 PC and enabled the Tivo server.
I popped up the firewall warnings, and I allowed it to use the ports.
The program is not running as the Administrator, but as a user that is in the Admin group.
Its log window reports the following:
06/06/16 23:23:46 - Starting...
06/06/16 23:23:46 - Trying Port 8070
06/06/16 23:23:46 - Running on Port 8070
06/06/16 23:24:01 - Warning: Bad URL argument(container) DoGenres=1
06/06/16 23:24:01 - Warning: Bad URL argument(container) DoGenres=1
06/06/16 23:24:01 - Warning: Bad URL argument(container) DoGenres=1
06/06/16 23:24:01 - Warning: Bad URL argument(container) DoGenres=1
and so on...
Any idea what that error means, and how to correct it?

Bump?

There is a good chance that the TiVo server just isn't working. We haven't kept it up to date. Sorry.

Ok, honest answers are good.
I have other means to serve Tivo devices (streambaby, pytivo).

Maybe it's time to remove "Tivo Server" - at least from MC22.
Why include it in MC22 if it is not being updated, JRiver doesn't even know if it works, and apparently no one, except maybe this OP, is using it (according to Poll http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=105581.0;viewResults)?
