Title: How to play webvtt subtitles?
Post by: 8139david on June 08, 2016, 08:05:22 am
I tried to play this Youtube movie in JRiver (using its video player):

It worked all right, except that there was no way to see the webvtt subtitles.
Is there a solution to this problem?

WebVTT is not supported at this time, sorry.
Its a format designed to be interpreted by web browsers, as it uses web technology (html and css) to format the subtitles, which is really not all that easy to replicate in a "simple" manner without a web browser at hand.
