Title: I can't figure a search for this... Close MC while in Theater View
Post by: lhwidget on June 27, 2016, 09:45:48 pm
When MC is open and in Theater View, is there a single command which will quit the program?

When I send the keystroke command "Alt+F4" it drops out of theater view to a windowed view.  I have to send "Alt+F4" a second time to exit the program.

I'm looking for a single keystroke that will exit the program from Theater View, and I'm not finding it....

I'd love an option setting that would change the behavior while in Theater View to allow a real quit on the first Alt+F4 command, but I can't see how to do that either.

Thanks for reading & I hope there's an answer out there.

If you can configure a button/key to send the command "MC21.exe /close" that will do what you want.

Or Core Command 20007.

https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Media_Center_Core_Commands

You can send MCC commands with button presses, which you can configure via the keyboard customization file:

https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/User_Defined_Global_Keyboard_Shortcuts

Or you can send MCC command using MCWS:

http://localhost:52199/MCWS/v1/

So you've got some options.  :)
