Title: MadVR - remote control
Post by: eddyshere on June 28, 2016, 06:16:35 am
I'm not sure anybody has an answer and I might as well post it over at the doom forum...and please reallocate in the JRiver forum as deemed suitable :

MadVR has a nice remote control option over IP. The MadVr has 3 sockets for which the API is described in the madvr folder called net-protocoll.txt

I have a noob question and easier make a fool out of myself asking it here that in the doom forum which for madvr is highly technical

is it possible to communicate with it with a simple UDP/TDP client (aka putty/realterm) ? or does it require some programming? I get and understand half of the net-protocoll.txt but don't really know where to start.

You should ask such madVR specific questions over on the Doom9 forum where the madVR author reads it.
