Title: Offline install possible?
Post by: GreenMan on June 29, 2016, 08:45:18 am
I am interested in purchasing a MC22 license for my studio Windows PC, which doesn't have an internet connection/port.  I have another Windows PC with internet access that I can use to make the purchase and obtain an install key.
1. Does JRiver support this scenario?
2. If so, does my online PC need to have MC installed in order to obtain the install key?

Since I will not use MC on my online PC, I would rather not waste precious space on this laptop's tiny solid state drive for MC.

Also, I saw the "Plans for MC22 thread", which includes "AB Comparison for listening tests."
3. Is this new feature a reality?

I use (free) foobar2000 for this feature today, but I am willing to pay for MC if it has this feature (since I expect MC to sound better than foobar2000).

You install the license from the mjr file.

I highly recommend using MC's 30 day free trial before committing to purchase a license, in this case.
