Can someone please take a look at how lyrics (and notes) are saved (or not) in properties.
I'm sure the number of times I've had to go looking again for lyrics that I found the previous day far outweighs the number of times I forgot to click on another file.
One thing I've noticed is that if I've got music playing in the background, a change of track will clear the lyrics I just pasted.
There has to be a better way.

I think there is a save button on that window if i am not mistaken.
and if you do not press it it will not save.
i just looked at it and it works as it should

I've had this happen a couple of times myself. Haven't been able to find any kind of pattern to it, though. I know I'm clicking Save, as the lyrics are showing up in the File Properties box. Sometime later, though, I'll be checking through my files and notice that the lyrics are gone.
I've had the same thing happen with internal cover art, as well. I've pretty much given up on storing cover art internally at this point.

Yes, happened to me too... A lot of times.. It happens for example if you insert lyrics from properties, press save and then click to search text box to search something. In this case lyrics won't be saved into tag or in MC's database.
There are also some other places where not to click if you want your changes to be updated, but i can't remember those right now.

2. input some text

Text will be in the lyrics field...
4. click on search text box
5. search something
6. find song, you tried add lyrics.
-> There is no lyrics

Or, have some music playing, paste some text into the lyrics pane of another track, press save and watch it till the next track comes on. It will disappear.
