Playlists are stored in an internal format in the library folder.  You can export playlists from the menu.

Thanks. I'm kind new with this program.
My goal is to have everything - library, music, playlists, etc. on my network and have MC be able to access it from either of my two PCs.
Am I going about it in the wrong way?
Thanks.

Yes.

You will need to set up your two PCs in a Client/Server configuration, where one PC is the main MC Server, and the other is the Client of that server. You can still have all your media on your network, on network drives or a NAS, and the Client can read those files directly, or have them served (streamed) from the MC Server.

You should not attempt to have two PCs reading, for example, one library (which is an index of all media and view definitions, Playlists, Smartlists, etc.) from a network location, or two PCs each with their own library reading (and updating) the same media files (tags, number of plays, Cover Art, etc.)

You have some reading to do. Start with Media Server (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Media_Server).
