1. Since I upgraded to MC21 and now MC22, MC hangs intermittently and sometimes it just won't play even thru rebooting. It either there will be no volume while you can see that it is still playing. Or, playing suddenly stops and you can see MC buffering and it does not play. When you stop it, it hangs and needs a reboot. My motherboard firmware is updated and I use MC for audio use only.
2. When I upgraded to MC22, I just run the MC22 application file and updates without removing MC21. It's now supposed to be on MC22. But one time when MC hanged, the error message stating whether to close the application or make re-start shows MC21 on the error message. Anything wrong with my installation?
Please help......
Thanks

It sounds like you have both MC22 and MC21 running at the same time, and thus perhaps competing for the same resources. Check if you have MC21 set to start automatically when Windows starts. (MC Options ¦ Startup ¦ Windows Start).

Will check on that. Thanks

Update: MC21 is still running inspite of the MC22 installation. So I uninstalled MC21 and got MC22 to work. However, the problem persists when a song would stop in the middle, and you will see buffering in the song status. Then, if you press the stop button, it will hang and will require reboot. In other cases, the music will stop, then buffering, then go to the other tracks failing to play then go to the next track, etc. etc. Another case is the sound stops midway with no volume but you can still see the track counter moving.
In the MC Options ¦ Startup ¦ Windows Startup, it is set to Media Center and Media Server
Please help....

We don't support that OS. Sorry. If you're using it with an "optimizer" that could be the source of the trouble.

Currently running without an optimizer.
Why would it not run with windows server 2012 R2?
