I play JRiver through DNLA to a PS Audio Perfectwave DAC with the network Bridge ll. JRiver Rel. 21 works perfectly on my system but for some reason the upgrade to Rel. 22 (220012) will not. It loads ok and the everything looks normal but for some reason, music tracks won't play. I didn't change any settings. The Bridge and PWD have the latest firmware.
I created a log file which I hope captures the necessary technical info.
Jim, Who should I sent the log file to in order to help me figure out what's wrong?
Thanks

I hope someone at JRiver can help me with this issue. Anyone?

Have you done a backup of your v21 library and restored it in v22 or did you set things up fresh?
The PS Audio hardware seems to be quite problematic so if your settings even differ slightly that could be causing these issues.

Thanks. I closed v21 and did a straight update to v22 without changing anything. V22 opened with no problem and my library and settings were still there, as in V21 and JRiver finds the Bridge. Everything looks the same. Files will play on my computer but for some reason, not on my PS Audio DAC. A mystery to me. I was hoping I could send a log file for analysis.

Try restoring from the old library and choose to restore the settings as well. Something might not have gotten copied from the old settings properly.

Bob, I backed up my library and closed 21. Then I installed 22 and restored that library. JRiver didn't find the Bridge until I rebooted it (the bridge). I then loaded a playlist and it looked like it was starting to play but only for a few seconds. But, no sound and then nothing. I'm now wondering if the new Bridge ll firmware might be an issue. It's version 2.7.11 which is fairly recent. Is that a possibility? Any thoughts?

Forgot to mention, when I restored the library, I chose both to restore the library & playlists and settings.

Have you had a chance to run Andrew's DMRA analyzer on the new firmware?

Not yet. I'll download a fresh copy and give it a shot. I'll let you know what results I get.

Bob, the DMA analyzer found both the PSAudio bridge and JRiver as renderers and played a tone through both. (That is, both through the networked DAC and my computer) Success in both cases. It did say "SetNextAVtransportURI gapless "not supported". But When I tried to run MC22 it didn't work regardless of how I ticked the DLNA controller options. Anyway, MC21 plays fine with the DLNA options ticked or unticked.
I'm getting frustrated. Someone smarter than me needs to look at this. I have a JRiver log file generated when I try to run MC22 and also a copy of the Analyzer. I will be happy to send these file to JRiver if you can tell me who to send them to.
Thank you.

Sounds like a firewall problem.

HOLY CRAP. Jim, you're the man! MC22 is now playing beautifully.
I've never before even looked at the Windows 10 Firewall page but based on your comment, I found the settings in the Control panel. There were several Media Center 22 items listed and sure enough, for some reason, a couple were shown as blocked. I changed them and voila!, problem solved.
Cheers and thanks.

Good to hear you got it going. I always forget the firewall stuff...

No problem Bob. All's well that ends well. I appreciate having you follow this.
