Title: JRiver full screen leaves line of the desktop at the top
Post by: Agent86 on July 26, 2016, 04:33:41 am
Running JR on Vista. When I maximise JR, there is a narrow sliver (1 pixel wide?) of desktop visible at the top of the JR skin. When I play a movie with black bars, this sliver/line is visible at the top.

If I minimise and then maximise the playing video the line disappears and the video occupies whole screen.

Suggestions? Thanks!

Which skin are you using? What's your screen resolution? Have you tried updating your display/graphics drivers? Are you using any of Media Center's skin size settings (e.g. past 100%)?

Sounds like a display driver issue to me.

where's your taskbar, top or bottom? Have you set it to 'auto hide'?

This happens with all skins (I have tried all skins that I have). I was thinking display driver as well but I have the latest.

The taskbar is at the top and yes it autohides. However this "line" remains no matter were I place the task bar.

I'm not using any skin size settings.

Note that this line shows both when JR default screen is up and also when a movie is playing. I can get it to disappear if I minimise a playing movie and then remaximise it.

Fits in with my experience too. If you don't auto hide the task bar, the thin line issue will go away. I'm not sure if it's a Windows thing or an MC thing, but I suspect it's Windows.
