are you on latest windows 10 update?
plus what vga you have?

Can you post a video? If it's what I'm thinking, as far as I know it's normal. Here it loads so quickly it's hard to notice.

What video hardware are you using? It may be a video driver problem.

im using a MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G with latest nvidia site drivers..
i use plenty of sets just for the test and none fix the bug...
i cant confirm 100% its not a vga driver probelm
i use onboard too for the test and i had same results
-
aging radeon 5850 for me.
-
I don't think I could ever get to 100% on video driver issues.
-
aging radeon 5850 for me.
ATI?
-
Is it skin specific?
-
ATI, yes.
Not skin specific. Custom and Noire shown in the capture.
-
defently no a skin, i try stock and mine too same problem..
i tried my nvidia card gtx 1080
i tried a onboard intel 530 one
nothing....
-
please devs take a look its so anoying bug please!
-
I don't believe it's a video card issue.
I believe it's just MC drawing the window - like I said, it's normal and not a bug (as far as I know). It happens so quickly here that I've learned not to notice it anymore.

its a theme engine bug i beilive, but defently needs to be fixed its not normal at all for this to happen
-
As far as I can remember, it's been happening for years since I started using MC, so I don't consider it a bug.
Matt, any thoughts?

I do apologise, but, I was having a little dig. What I meant was...

The team are very busy, and this is a little something that has been around a very long time and is not causing any direct problem other than minor aesthetics, for a fraction of a second. Firstly, you have to give people a chance to respond, secondly, if you dial it back just a wee bit, you have more likelyhood of someone listening to you, otherwise, it begins to feel a bit like 'are we nearly there yet' ;):D
oh, and as I have my grumpy head on this afternoon, I'm marko, I'm not your 'mate'.
gappie, great to bump into you again.... you all good?

the (mate) is a more humanly speach....i was believe here we are a team one help the other....dont disapoint me on this....
as for the (team) i know they are buzy but somethings needs to be fixed, its a paid app after all and we support it (dont a beta closed minded man or marko)....

I know, and also concede that english is most likely not your first language, so just take advice, that if you know someone's name, it's better to use that than "mate" unless you really are mates, because otherwise, it's a bit, well, say, off target.
Everything else just requires a little patience. The 'team' is JRiver. The rest of us just try and help out where we can. Sometimes, that works out really well, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes, like now, you just gotta wait for JRiver, and always be prepared to not get the result you desire, that way, if it works out, it feels like a bonus, and if not, you don't get disappointed.
Your issue is, to you, a bug. It could turn out that JRiver decide it's a bug worth living with...

Johnny,
Your English seems just a little aggressive.
For example, you don't call a person mate (or pal) in English unless A) he really is one or B) you mean it as a minor insult. In your case, it would be best to leave it out.

It wasn't criticism. I've said many times (not to you, I know), but, I have the utmost respect for those that have english as a second language. When visiting Paris a few years ago, parisians (sp?) with english were so helpful. Sometimes though, stuff gets lost in translation, and that was the point I was making.
We should leave this now, and focus the thread back to your flashing white square in the hope that there is a fix for it.

any news??

We'll update this thread if and when we change anything. Until then, asking a couple times every day will not make work go faster, if anything it gives us more forum posts to read, and less actual work is getting done.
