Title: addressing Tinnitus with a notch filter (in a plugin)

Very little can be done to treat Tinnitus (ear ringing) - and it really gets to you after about 1 minute:)

Since I use JRiver for my playback, and have nasty chronic tinnitus at a particular frequency, AND there's research indicating that notch-filtered music can help suppress the ringing, thought I'd give it at try.

Can someone recommend a plugin to put a really steep notch at a particular frequency?

you don't need a plugin, just use the PEQ in DSP studio
