Hi there,
what I'd like to do is choose tasks per imported folder (which are specified above the tasks). For example I'd like the files imported from X:\ to "Get cover art", but I do not want to get cover art for files coming from Z:\ and so on.
Please see the screenshot of the media import to make it clearer.
Is this already possible? If not, could this be implemented (in 22 I guess then)?
Thanks.

Bump. This can probably be moved to MC22 I guess.

The only way I can think of is to set MC to do no automatic cover art lookup, then select what you want and do a manual lookup.
I don't think this is a common enough need that it would make a good feature.

Thanks.
Yes, that's the way I do it.
For me it's about intuitivity in the GUI, but I also do not think that this use case is really uncommon as people probably have different locations for different media types (e.g. x:\movies, y:\music, ...). With todays solution I can't say for example: "Well, I want my audio files analyzed but I do not want/need movies to be analyzed.", "I need artwork on the audio files located in Y: but not on those located in Z: since they are tagged properly already".
Is your no definitive?

I think you're out of bumps now. We can't do everything that anyone imagines. Sorry.

Thanks. No need to be sorry, it's your product. But you could have told me that you "can't do everything that anyone imagines" a few months ago, your answer would have saved me a few bumps :)
