I first downloaded and tried the 30 day trial of 9.0. After a few days, I got curious and downloaded and setup the 9.1.226 beta. I love 9.1, but now I've got just a few days left (presumably from the 9.0 trial). I plan to pay for a full version of Media Center, but if I buy now will my library and playlists be backwards compatible to 9.0? If not, what should I do? My time's running out! Or when's 9.1 production being released?

You're best off to stick with what you have now, buy it if necessary, and then download 9.1 when it's released.
If you keep downloading the betas, you may find one that has something important broken.
In general, they should get more stable and bug-free, but there is always a chance...

If I stick with what I have now (the 9.1.226 beta) it expires in a few days. So I'm out of luck until 9.1 is released? I'm happy to buy a full copy, but I didn't get an anser as to whether my 9.1.226 library and playlists are comp[atible with the production 9.0.

no 9.0 is not compatable with 9.1 library
