My current version of JRemote (3.10) both iPadPro & iPhone 6s includes a "Remote" icon on the initial menu. When pressed it takes me to a page that looks like a touch screen for control. Mine doesn't respond to anything.
For ages I've used both MC & JRemote to stream to my Squeezebox Touch & Radio. With MC 22 for Mac that doesn't seem to be working either. Both devices are listed in the Playing Now but they just don't work. When an item is added to the playlist the error message that "the playlist is empty" pops up.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

That's the Theater View Remote mode. It's designed to control MC in Theater View, as an alternative to an IR remote control with arrow keys and an Enter button. Since MC for Mac doesn't have Theater View yet, this option won't really do anything useful.
