Title: Issues with multiple versions of Windows?

I'm just getting ready to install and setup MC.  My plan is to buy a master license and install on my desktop (running Windows 7) and an unused laptop (also running Windows 7).  I want to keep the desktop running Windows 7 and update the laptop to Windows 10 (prior to installing MC).

Is it a problem to have MC running on different Windows versions?

Is there a reason that I should not update the laptop to Windows 10?
