Ok, so i bought the program.
i have the registration code (mjr extention i believe)
i run the executable and tell it custom settings and that i want to do a portable install but it says you can't do a portable install unless you have a valid license?
-
i am not sure what i am supposed to do with the mjr file?
i just downloaded the program.
run it
i get dialog box asking setup type: (express or custom)
i select custom
i get dialog box asking setup type: (normal or portable)
i select portable install
i tell it the location i want it (T:\JRiver)
and i get a pop-up that says i can only do a portable install if i have a valid license on this machine.
How do i get the valid license on this machine?
I already did the restore license twice.
-
i did express settings and once i did a default install then it would let me do a portable install.
you should put that on the dialog box, that you can't do a portable install until you have done a default install first.

Here is how licensing works:

Make sure you install MC and license it first on your main computer before attempting to do a portable install.
